The reroof process
We begin by removing the old roofing material, battens and sarking. This is the same if it be for metal or a tile to COLORBOND® conversion.
TOPSPAN® metal battens are then installed to the rafters which will soon lock in your new COLORBOND® roof to the existing structure.
Insulation blanket is then installed. Insulation blanket has been specially designed with temperature and noise control in mind for buildings with metal roofs. It reduces radiant heat in Summer and prevents condensation in Winter, an all round must in our harsh Australian conditions.
COLORBOND® sheeting is then laid on top of the battens and insulation blanket, flashings and capping are fitted and the final cleanup begins, removing the old materials off site so you can sit back and admire your new COLORBOND® roof.
